ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The energy department began its work in 1997 with the merger of three secondary specialized educational institutions of the city into the Aksu College named after Zhayau Musa. Currently, the energy department trains specialists in three specialties: – 0901000 «Electrical equipment of electric stations and networks»; – 0911000 «Technical operation , maintenance and repair of electrical and electromechanical equipment of metallurgy enterprises ”; – 1304000 “Computer Engineering and Software”.

Since 2007, the department is headed by Nazira Mukhitovna Abraeva. The department employs a highly qualified creative teaching staff of like-minded people, using innovative teaching technologies, diverse forms and teaching methods in their work. Today, Borolis N.L., Chernyshova T.Yu., Isakhanova Zh.G, Ostrinskaya A.N., Zheksembaeva S.D., Abdrakhmanova Zh.T., Esimbekov S.B. along with experienced At present, young teachers work at the department: Selkhanova M.N., Akhtanova A.S.,

Radionov Sergey, a 1998 graduate, works as an engineer at the SIZPI service of the Western Electricity Networks; Galiakbarov Sergey Aslyamovich – Leading Lecturer at the College of Agriculture, Talgar, Almaty Region; Kritsky Anton Valerievich, head of the electrical equipment repair shop of EEC JSC. The department has all the conditions for the quality of the educational process. The material and technical base has been created: there are specialized laboratories and computer classes equipped with the necessary software

In 2013, as part of the PIR program, the material and technical base was replenished with modern equipment for workshops for maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and laboratories, specializing in “Electrical equipment of electric stations and networks”. Teachers of electrotechnical disciplines and disciplines of information technology are united in one cyclic methodical commission under the leadership of Isakhanova Zh.G. The teaching staff of the department sets itself the task of preparing competitive specialists who know modern production and advanced technologies in a modern market.

To do this, the department is working on information support of the educational process, improving the professional skills of teachers and increasing the effectiveness of teaching methods.

The objects of the power system are all communal and industrial installations and apparatuses that provide heating or cooling processes: refrigeration units, centralized and decentralized heat supply systems, heating and air conditioning, heating lines and plants for the production of dairy, meat and confectionery products, sugar and juice processing and preservation of grain, distillation and evaporation plants of pharmaceutical and perfumery industries, industrial furnaces and boilers, equipment of thermal power plants, cooling systems of various plants and high-temperature surfaces in order to ensure their long-term and safe operation. A significant role is played by power engineers in the development of energy saving measures, including–

creation and improvement of heat and gas recovery systems for gases and liquids spent in the respective facilities (engines, furnaces, etc.);

– Creation of non-waste technologies that solve not only the problems of resource conservation, but also environmental protection;

– use of renewable (solar, wind, bioenergy) and secondary energy resources (energy waste of various industries).

In 1985, the Ermakov Energy College was opened, with Bekbolatov Amangeldy Zhumabaevich appointed as its director.

Reorganized in 1997, the energy technical school is represented by the department of heat power engineering, whose supervisor was Dmitrieva Valentina Ivanovna.

Since 2003, with the introduction of the new specialty “Ferrous Metals Metallurgy” at the Heat Power Engineering Department, the heat power department has been renamed to metallurgical.

At the end of the college, graduates of the heat and power department of the college are qualified: technician – power engineer, technician – metallurgist, technician – mechanic.

Our graduates undergo industrial and pre-diploma practice, and then successfully work at city-forming enterprises of the city: JSC «EEC», a branch of JSC «TNK Kazchrome» Aksu Ferroalloy Plant, LLP «Teplovik» and other heat supply companies of the region – TPP, state district power station. Many students continue their studies at universities of Pavlodar region and abroad in full-time and part-time studies.

The department has formed a close-knit team of experienced and young teachers who participate in various competitions, on-line projects, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, as well as are developers of standard programs in subjects, tests of qualification exams, and participate in the testing of teaching aids:
